Nottingham school students ‘excited’ to meet Prince Harry
OHMYGOSSIP — Students at Blue Bell Hill Primary School in Nottingham are “excited” for a visit by Britain’s Prince Harry next week, who will discuss how his charity Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry can help local youths.
Students at a school in Nottingham are “excited” for Britain’s Prince Harry’s visit next week. Youngsters at Blue Bell Hill Primary School in St Ann’s, East Midlands of England, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the handsome royal when he comes to meet them at the nearby Russell Youth Club, where he will also meet with four local organisations supporting youth work.
The 26-year-old royal will discuss ways in which his Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry charity can offer its help to those in need.
Head teacher of the school, Jo Bradley, said: “The children missed out on seeing the Queen when she came [last year], so they are very excited.
“He is popular among young people, and the staff are all excited too.”
In the meantime, Harry is preparing to attend the London Marathon on Sunday (21.04.13) – the day of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s birthday – and will present medals to the winners.
The prince is already an official patron on the London Marathon Charitable Trust and will be on hand to award the victors of each discipline of the 26.2-mile race, elite men’s, women’s, wheelchair and IPC Athletics Marathon World Cup events.
