Paul Smith to show at London Collections: Men
OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Smith will make his debut at London Collections: Men in June, revealing his new menswear line at the week-long event.
Paul Smith will show at London Collections: Men in June. The fashion designer will showcase his label’s spring/summer 2014 collection at the biannual men’s’ fashion week in the British capital for the first time.
However, the brand will still debut its main collection at Paris Fashion Week.
It was previously revealed that Burberry would break from tradition, showing its new menswear line in London for the very first time.
The brand traditionally launches new collections at Milan Men’s Fashion Week in the Italian capital.
Other newcomers to London Collections: Men include Jimmy Choo and Rag & Bone.
GQ UK editor and event organiser Marc Dylan said: “I am particularly pleased that Burberry has decided to move to London from Milan, a move which shows their dedication to London as the home of menswear.
“This season is even busier than last, with appearances from Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith and Rag & Bone, proving that London Collections: Men is not just a showcase for great British designers but a platform for international designers and brands too.”
More than 60 designers are expected to show at the week-long event, which takes place between June 15 and June 18.
Returning designers include Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen and Spencer Hart.
