Paris Jackson has ‘strong bond’ with mother
OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson has developed a ‘strong bond’ with her mother Debbie Rowe and they have been hanging out together a lot recently.
Paris Jackson has developed a “strong bond” with her mother Debbie Rowe. The 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson recently reconnected with her mother and they are now said to be very close.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Debbie and Paris were most recently spotted together at a hospital on Sunday (14.04.13) after one of the former nurse’s neighbours was thrown off a horse at her ranch and injured.
The insider said the mother and daughter were “hanging out” when the accident happened and immediately took the man to the hospital to make sure he was okay.
The pair are said to have been hanging out “a lot recently” and have gotten very close.
The teenager has been secretly meeting up with her mum – who was married to Michael from 1996 to 1999 – recently and even celebrated her 15th birthday with Debbie earlier this month.
‘Thriller’ hitmaker Michael was given full custody of Paris and her elder brother Prince Michael in 1999, and in return gave his ex-wife Debbie an $8 million settlement and a house in Beverly Hills.
Debbie then asked a judge to terminate her parental rights in 2001, before deciding to have the decision reversed when Michael was charged with 10 counts of child abuse in 2004.
Debbie reached a settlement in August 2009 with Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson – who became the children’s legal guardian following her son’s death – which allowed her rights to supervised visitations.
Sources said that Debbie did not exercise her rights for a long time, because she wanted her contact with the kids to be genuine and not forced.
Last month, Katherine filed a motion asking the judge in the family’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live to exclude any evidence relating to the children’s paternity, including 11-year-old son Blanket, who was born via a surrogate mother.
