Nicole Scherzinger: Will and Kate have lost ‘mystique’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger thinks Prince William and Duchess Catherine, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child, have lost their “mystique” after being overexposed to the British public.

Nicole Scherzinger thinks Prince William and Duchess Catherine have lost their “mystique”. The ‘Boomerang’ singer insists she isn’t interested in the daily lives of the royal family and feels they are overexposed in the media, believing they should be more mysterious to the British public.

She told OK! magazine: “I haven’t met them but if I did I’m sure I’d be head over heels fawning at them. I don’t really know much about it. I don’t really know what they do. I guess they travel a lot and get their picture taken.

“It’s weird because the media over-saturates things. There’s not even much mystique to them. They’re like Brad and Ange, right? I miss that mystique in the industry. Who wants to see what Harry’s getting up to in Vegas? I don’t! He’s a little prince in my eyes, let’s keep it that way.”

William and Catherine are due to welcome their first child in July and it is thought they will name their baby after William’s grandfather Prince Philip if it’s a boy.

The decision would be down to William – whose full name is Prince William Arthur Philip – being “very fond” of his relative and his father Prince Charles also has the name in his full title, Charles Philip Arthur George.

A royal insider said: “The name Philip is in the frame for a boy.

“It will certainly have it somewhere in his name. It is popular with them at the moment and could even be the first name as William is very fond of his grandfather.”
