Kate Moss goes green

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss and husband Jamie Hince are bidding to become self-sufficient by turning one of their barns into a hen house and having a vegetable patch designed.

Kate Moss is having a vegetable patch designed in a bid to become self-sufficient. The supermodel and her husband Jamie Hince have decided to go green at their home in the Cotswolds, South West England, where the couple have turned one of their “posh” barns at the country abode into a hen house to enable them to produce their own eggs.

A source said: “Kate is really serious about country living. She’s having a vegetable patch designed and converting one of her posh barns into a hen house.

“She wants a compost heap for recycling food waste and loves chatting at the local farmers market. She only eats organic food but wants to grow her own.”

While the 39-year-old beauty – who has 11-year-old daughter Lila from her relationship with Jefferson Hack – has been known for her partying lifestyle in the past, the blonde star and The Kills guitarist are determined to “do their bit” for the environment.

The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “Jamie feels very strongly about the environment and climate change and he and Kate want to do their bit where they can.

“It seems she’s letting her inner hippy loose on other aspects of her life.

“The high life just doesn’t make her happy any more.”
