Marilyn Manson new Saint Laurent campaign star

OHMYGOSSIP — Marilyn Manson is the unexpected star of Saint Laurent’s new campaign.

The rock musician – whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner – was chosen by creative director Hedi Slimane to front the label’s menswear line. Known for his Nineties grunge aesthetic, Manson is seen in the campaign wearing a black leather biker jacket and his signature dark lipstick and heavy black eyeliner. The label has confirmed this morning that the image was shot by Slimane, who is also an established fashion photographer.

The image was revealed ahead of its official release by Mugler’s creative director, Nicola Formichetti, over the weekend, who published the campaign image on his Instagram simply saying: “Amazing”.

Previous faces of the label include Vogue cover girls Anja Rubik and Edie Campbell.
