Christina Aguilera wants to be ‘rejuvenated’

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera has hinted at new music this year after announcing she wants her break to help her be “rejuvenated” for her plans for the rest of the year.

The singer hasn’t returned for the fourth season of ‘The Voice’ US and revealed last week she wants to get “re-inspired”, before refusing to rule out new music in 2013.

Speaking at the screening premiere for the show’s new series, she said: “I’m going on vacation next week with my son, first time in Japan, which is such an inspirational place for me [to] get re-inspired, rejuvenated for what’s to come… I can’t say everything!”

Asked about the possibility of new music, she added: “We’ll see, yeah, if it feels right.”

The star’s plans for a break with son Max, five, come after she advised teen star Justin Bieber to do the same thing after a recent disastrous week in the UK which saw the ‘Believe’ hitmaker collapse on stage and argue with paparazzi.

She explained: “You live life and it’s hard to grow up in front of a camera. You learn as you get older to take moments for yourself, step away from the camera, re-inspire yourself as an artist, rejuvenate and refresh.”
