Shakira: The Voice is an adventure to me
OHMYGOSSIP — More footage of new Voice coaches Shakira and Usher in action has emerged. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are also seen jokingly trash-talking their new colleagues in a series of clips from season four’s blind auditions.
“I haven’t done anything like this before in my life, so it is totally an adventure to me,” Shakira says in the video, which debuted via Access Hollywood.
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer, who offers high praise to a number of contestants in the preview, added: “It’s just a really nice journey. I’m glad I’m here. I’m really thrilled.”
“Season four is like none other,” Usher said. “But, hey, there’s a new sheriff in town!”
Shelton, whose contestants have won the last two seasons of The Voice, said: “Adam and I made a point not to try and help [them].
“The last thing you want to do is hand someone a bullet for their gun in this competition.”
The Voice returns on Monday, March 25 at 8/7c on NBC, with Shakira and Usher succeeding former coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
