I don’t think any career is worth stressing out the person that you love
OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus has confessed she’s turned down risque movie roles because she doesn’t want to make her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, jealous. The singer and actress, 19, always tries to take her fiance’s feelings into consideration when she gets offered work because she doesn’t think any role is worth ruining a relationship over.
“I’ve turned down scripts, because I felt like it was things that not only make me feel uncomfortable, but I don’t think any career is worth stressing out the person that you love the most or making them feel hurt. So, we both give each other boundaries,” she said.
She also revealed being engaged has helped her to feel more secure and now she doesn’t worry about his on-screen romantic pairings.
“It’s a thing, but it’s not a thing. At this point we’re engaged, like we’re forever. I think if I was a girlfriend and all this stuff would happen I would feel like I need to show my ownership,” she said.
Recent reports claimed Liam has had enough of Cyrus’ Twitter obsession, especially since she used it to take a dig at their relationship on Sept. 13.
“Ever feel like you want just something more. Not sure what exactly.. passion perhaps?” Miley wrote.
Miley later tried to backtrack, tweeting, “no there is not trouble in paradise.. just thoughts.”
Sources say Liam isn’t happy with his future-wife’s tendency to over share.
“Miley’s tweet was such a huge insult to Liam. She tried to pass it off like it had nothing to do with him, but it totally affected him, no matter what she tries to say,” a source said.
“She was trying to get his attention, but she just ended up making him pull away from her more. He thinks she’s acting like an immature schoolgirl, and he wants her to get off Twitter completely.”
