Eva Mendes denies Ryan Gosling split

OHMYGOSSIP — Hitch actress Eva Mendes has set the record straight and denied that she and her handsome boyfriend have separated. Speaking on American show USA Today, the actress – who rarely speaks of her personal relationship – touched upon the subject of Gosling-love.

“I’m feeling a little insecure because I can’t help but be super conscious of what I’m saying because I’m so protective,” she said when asked about Ryan.

“That’s the most precious thing to me. And I’m so protective and I just felt my guard go up.”

The pair, who met and fell for each other on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines, have been dating – albeit rather quietly – ever since.

Eva has gushed about her boyfriend and co-star before. In March’s issue of Marie Claire she said she had “never felt so creatively satisfied on a film” and that Ryan is “amazing”.

Eva and Ryan have yet to make a public appearance together. Earlier this week, the 38-year-old actress attended the Met Gala alone… and Ryan hasn’t made a public appearance in a while. He even avoided pretty much all of the ceremonies over the awards season earlier this year.

We can’t wait to see these two hotties together on a red carpet though… and seeing as they’re definitely still together, we might just get that chance soon enough!
