Angelina Jolie too skinny at 2012 Oscars. Video!

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie caused quite a Twitter stir when she appeared on stage at the 84th Academy Awards to present a couple of Oscar statues Sunday night. The actress was dressed in a black Versace gown with a thigh-high slit that allowed her to show off one pale leg during Hollywood’s hottest red carpet affair of the year.

What got people tweeting was her ultra-thin arms and decidedly bony face that were all too evident as she doled out Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay.

She actually posed multiple times during the event with a hand on one hip and the opposite leg thrust forward through the slit with knee slightly bent.  According to the Academy, when she struck that stance on stage it started a Twitter storm that averaged 3,399 tweets per minute.

The sentiments were all about her skinny frame.  Singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee tweeted, “Dear Angelina Jolie…eat something.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Pheadra Parks added, “Angelina Jolie is beautiful but she needs a lil’ more meat on those bones… some biscuits and Popeyes chicken.”

We’ve always heard that the camera adds the appearance of an extra 10 pounds.  If that is truly the case it is hard to imagine what Jolie looks like in person.  Scary thought…

Jolie and partner Brad Pitt were joined for the evening by his parents, who were on hand to support his Oscar Best Picture nomination for Moneyball.

It looks like Angie might be using Botox or fillers to plump up her too thin face.  It was shiny and tight and accentuated her jawline in an unflattering way as she spoke during her presentation segment.
