Heather Locklear hospitalized after mixing prescription medication with alcohol
Heather Locklear has been hospitalized after reportedly mixing prescription medication with alcohol. The 50-year-old actress — who has previously been sent to hospital for psychological issues — was examined by paramedics after her sister called 911 yesterday afternoon and it was decided she needed to be taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center from her home in Westlake Village.
A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said, “Emergency response personnel responded to a medical emergency call at Ms. Locklear’s residence.
“Once they arrived, it was determined that Ms. Locklear needed to be transported to the hospital for further medical attention.”
However, her parents Bill and Diane have claimed she is now stable and doing “just fine”.
They said in a statement, “She is in no danger and she’s going to be just fine.”
Doctors are hoping she will be able to leave hospital soon.
In November, Heather called off her engagement to Melrose Place costar Jack Wagner after just three months.
The blonde beauty has had a turbulent few years.
In 2011, she was arrested, and later cleared, for a hit-and-run accident after hitting a No Parking sign in Ventura County, California.
In 2008 she entered rehab seeking treatment for anxiety and depression.
