Lady GaGa sued for $380,000
Lady GaGa is facing more legal problems. The singer has been named in a $380,000 lawsuit launched by a former assistant.
Jennifer O’Neill claims the Poker Face hitmaker is owed for 7,168 hours of overtime she completed during her 13-month employment with GaGa.
O’Neill alleges GaGa expected her duties to extend to “stadiums, private jets, fine hotel suites, yachts, ferries, trains and tour buses”, resulting in her often having no chance for breaks “or at times even sleep” as she reported to the 25-year-old from her “earliest waking hour”.
A representative for GaGa has claimed that O’Neill’s allegations are “completely without merit”, according to TMZ.
Recent reports claimed GaGa treated her chauffeur to a year’s supply of diapers.
“GaGa is very generous with her presents and makes a huge effort for those who look after her,” a source said.
“As soon as she found out her UK driver was going to be a dad, she was on the phone, trying to sort out a gift. It had to be something quirky, too — it’s part of her nature.
“GaGa has used the same driver for years since she first started performing in the UK. The poor guy has to drive her through hordes of screaming fans after gigs. Considering how often she stands up through the sunroof to salute her Little Monsters, he must know every inch of her midriff.”
