Ashley Tisdale splits from boyfriend

Ashley Tisdale has split from music video director Scott Speer after more than two years as a couple.

The former High School Musical star, 26, began seeing Speer, 29, in the spring of 2009.

Before getting together with Speer, she dated musician Jared Murillo.

Tisdale has previously admitted she’s cautious when it comes to relationships — because she’s been let down in the past.

“I have definitely been cheated on. And with someone you really like, if they are cheating on you, you don’t want to believe it,” she said. “But, unfortunately, you either stay in the relationship and keep getting hurt because it keeps happening or you get up and you move on.

“You don’t look back. That’s something that’s very empowering and I think that you should [move on] because you’ll be much happier in the long run.”
