Britney Spears learning how to sew

Britney Spears is learning to sew on tour. The Criminal hitmaker is currently on the European leg of her Femme Fatale world tour but rather than indulge in wild nights out, the mother-of-two is enjoying a more sedate past time.

“Sewing lesson in Sweden from the wardrobe team! Sweetest ladies –Brit,” she wrote on Twitter.
 
Britney is not the only celebrity who loves sewing, former X Factor judge turned fashion designer Dannii Minogue has revealed she used to take fashion tips from her grandmother, who taught her how to customise outfits on the sewing machine.
 
“I remember learning my love of fashion and design from my grandmother. She had six children and loved making her own things on the sewing machine, which gave me a good grounding in pattern cutting and how outfits are put together,” she said.
 
“Knowing how to sew is a godsend when it comes to personalizing outfits. Being petite and curvy, I often need to shorten things and get them nipped in. Kylie’s a much better sewer than me.”
