Michelle Pfeiffer: I’m all for a little plastic surgery
Michelle Pfeiffer has confessed that she is not against the idea of having plastic surgery. The 53-year-old Welcome to People actress revealed that she thinks society is too harsh on women who go under the knife, as the most important thing is for them to be happy with their own appearances.
“I’m all for a little here and there – fine. It doesn’t matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don’t, or if they do Botox,” Pfeiffer explained to Elle.
“But when people don’t look themselves anymore, that’s when you go, ‘Oooh,’ and it’s kind of sad. It’s uncomfortable for us but if they’re happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?”
Pfeiffer is the latest in a string of actresses to express their feelings on cosmetic procedures.
Charlie’s Angels star Minka Kelly recently revealed that she once turned down the opportunity to receive plastic surgery for free.
Salma Hayek has spoken out against cosmetic work, insisting that there is nothing beautiful about it while Julianne Moore believes that facelifts and other work are too “obvious”.
