Eva Mendes is the new Angel by Thierry Mugler

Eva Mendes, sexy Hollywood movie star is the new angel chosen by Thierry Mugler to portray the latest version of Angel, which will be released in a never-before-seen bottle.The fragrance? A cloud of freshness that oozes charm, just like its spokesperson. In the storyboard for the ad, Eva is the star of dream-like journey. What does it recall? The sparkly Angel bottle and its seducing scent, Vogue Italia august 2011 mediates.

With her sensual and curvy body she seems to embody perfection. But she’s actually quite gluttonous and says she loves Nutella.
We met up with Eva in New York to get to know her better. Besides being incredibly beautiful, she’s also tough, genuine.
 
You’re in perfect shape. Do you find it difficult?
“No because I don’t focus on that aspect. Beauty is not something that has to be built, it comes from being yourself. Always. I try to stay in shape by working out four times a week, jogging, doing yoga or walking with my dog. Sometimes I dance, by myself or with friends”.
 
What’s something you can’t live without?
Nutella. I also like pasta, but that I can give up. But I can’t resist chocolate and I love to eat it at night.
 
What’s your skincare routine?
I just wash my face throughly morning and night, I have peelings and try to moisturize it a lot. A few basic gestures, and when I don’t work I never wear makeup, I just wear a hint of gloss.
 
What do you think when you think of a scent?
A violet cologne that was used in Cuba is what comes to my mind. It use to cost three dollars and it was used during baths for children. It’s one of the smells of my childhood.
 
Are you afraid of getting old?
No, I’m not scared. I look at my mother, my family, and I don’t worry because they all have beautiful skin, I just try to keep my weight under control because I love good food even though I don’t know how to cook.
 
In your movies you often portray a femme fatale. In your love life, do you conquer or do you like to be won over?
Both. The important thing for me is that it turns into a game and when I like someone I try to catch their attention by making him laugh.
