Jennifer Lopez splashes out on $18 million mansion

Jennifer Lopez has splashed out $18 million on a new home. The singer-and-actress — who recently announced her split from her husband of seven years Marc Anthony — has purchased a stunning property in the exclusive Water Mill area of the Hamptons, New York.

The 14,000-square foot home — which was built in 2010 — boasts seven bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms and beautiful panoramic water views.

Despite the property costing $18 million, Jennifer can definitely afford it as it was recently revealed she has re-signed to judge American Idol when it returns to screen later this year for a reported $20 million.

The 42-year-old beauty is definitely moving on from the split with Marc but recently admitted it was the “hardest decision” she has ever made, but remained optimistic for the future.

Jennifer — who has three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with Marc — said, “Sometimes it doesn’t work — and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love. It’s still my biggest dream.”
