Salma Hayek inspired by breakfast

Salma Hayek admits breakfast time is a messy experience in her household — because most of it ends up on her face! The actress, 45,   has just launched her own range of beauty products — some inspired by mornings with her four-year-old daughter Valentina.

“One breakfast time I had made pancakes and orange juice for my daughter and I had an idea,” explains Salma.

“I took brown sugar, honey and the orange juice, mixed it up and created this great face scrub and mask. I put it on for 20 minutes and I was back feeling great. It’s things like this that really inspire me.”

Salma recently insisted she’ll never have plastic surgery.

“I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth,” she said.

“It’s like the uniform of a generation. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful.

“As a woman, you should be more at ease with your sexuality when you are in your 40s.

“You are more self-assured about that part. And that’s the way it should be. If you are a girl who cannot walk in heels, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are. If you look like a chicken that’s been spiked in the feet, it’s not going to be sexy.”
