Britney Spears planning spectacular 30th birthday celebrations

Britney Spears has said that she “can’t wait” to turn 30. The pop superstar will celebrate the milestone birthday on December 2. Speaking to Glamour, Spears revealed that she would be marking the occasion in South America.

“I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can’t wait,” she told the magazine. “I’m really excited and I am definitely going to celebrate and do something spectacular.”

Spears continued: “I’m going to be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney? I don’t think I’ll be doing that! It’ll be something a little more low-key.”

The Femme Fatale star will return to the UK next month, as her well-received world tour visits London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Sheffield.

Spears gave a rare interview and photoshoot to the October issue of Glamour, which is available from Thursday, September 8.
