Jennifer Lopez enjoys her 42nd birthday party

Jennifer Lopez was “very happy” at her 42nd birthday party on Saturday night. The singer — who split from her husband of seven years Marc Anthony, the father of her three-year-old twins Max and Emme, earlier this month — celebrated at the Scarpetta restaurant inside in Fontainebleau hotel in Miami with friends and family, and enjoyed the evening despite her recent personal troubles.

“Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing,” a source said.

“She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant.”

It was the second party Jennifer had to celebrate her birthday, which was yesterday, in two days.

She enjoyed a night at the Wine Cellar of the Forge on Miami Beach on Friday, where she was “chatty” with other revelers at the event and enjoyed an extensive menu of lobster peanut butter and jelly and chocolate souffle.

“Jennifer and her group arrived at around 9pm and went directly to the private wine cellar for a pre-birthday dinner. It was very secluded and beautiful among the bottles with bold vibrant labels,” a source added.

“Jennifer absolutely loved it. When the waiters brought the souffle , they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her while pouring everyone a crystal goblet of champagne.”
