Britney Spears Kicks Off Tour in California
Britney Spears gave fans a sneak peek backstage during the opening night of her Femme Fatale tour on Thursday by ‘Tweeting’ a picture of herself in a sexy outfit moments before stepping out to perform her first show.
The singer addressed fans via her Twitter.com page just minutes before taking to the stage at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California by posting a photo of herself behind the scenes, hugging her boyfriend Jason Trawick.
Spears is seen wearing a bejeweled white bra-style top and hotpants, writing, “It’s opening night b***h!!!!… – Britney.”
Meanwhile, her opening act, Nicki Minaj, was also busy ‘Tweeting’, sending Spears the message, “Born ready Brit! Time to give the kidz (sic) what they’ve been waitin for…. Femme Fatale Tour!”
Spears hit the stage in a variety of eye-catching costumes as part of her racy new show, including a kimono-style gown, fishnet stockings and studded denim hotpants, opening with her hit track Hold It Against Me and tearing through a set-list of 22 songs before closing with Toxic and Till The World Ends.
The pop superstar will make 33 stops with Minaj on the North American leg of the Femme Fatale tour, before taking her show to Europe in September.
