Sheryl Crow learning from sons
Sheryl Crow is learning about life from her sons. The 49-year-old singer — who has two adopted boys, Wyatt, three, and 12-month-old Levi — loves taking her children on the road with her because they bring her so much joy.
“It’s great! It’s just fun for me to have them around all the time,”she said. “They are the people I love most and they’re teaching me everyday what life really is all about.”
The All I Wanna Do hitmaker says the boys have an influence on her songwriting – because of the sleepless nights they give her.
“I think it has given me a different outlook on life and your life tends to inform your art,” she said. “I get a lot less sleep, I can tell you that, so I can pull from my lack of sleep for some very inspired songwriting!”
Sheryl also revealed that she would love to be a vet if she wasn’t a musician because she loves animals and wishes she was more knowledgeable when it comes to the livestock she keeps on her Nashville farm.
“I would love to be a vet if I weren’t doing music,” she said. “I love animals and always have. I have a farm full of horses and the vet is there all the time and I wish I knew as much as he knows.”
