John Mellencamp’s ex-wife Elaine Irwin hooks up with wealthy media mogul

Elaine Irwin, John Mellencamp’s soon-to-be ex-wife, has a new man! According to New York Post gossip column Page Six, Elaine, 41, has hooked up with wealthy media mogul Jay Penske, 32.

Elaine and John split in January after 18 years of marriage and have two teenage children. John immediately started dating Meg Ryan.

“Despite Elaine being a little older, she and Jay have been quietly seeing each other for a while as she has been spending more time in Los Angeles,” a source said.

“But it is still early days.”
