Sarah Jessica Parker to revive Sex and The City — Online?

Sarah Jessica Parker wants to bring back Sex and the City – but only online. The actress is said to be considering an idea to bring back Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda in a series of web-based shorts.

“A lot of fans were let down by SATC 2 and while there won’t be a third movie there may be a future for the franchise,” explains an insider.

“In marketing terms there is a lot of interest in bring Carrie and the girls back even if it’s only on the small scale. There is a number of ideas on the table and it really just depends if SJP and the rest of the cast can be tempted back.”

Sarah has previously spoken of her desire to make sure Carrie Bradshaw lives on.

“I hope Carrie will live on,” she said last year.

“She will live on — even if the movies don’t. I feel blessed that we’ve told so many stories about these lovely characters.”
