Nicole Kidman is a sucker for love
Nicole Kidman has opened up about her life in a frank interview with the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “You know how you dream as a girl; I’m one of those people,” said the actress, who raises daughter Sunday Rose with husband Keith Urban. “I would meet a guy, then I would imagine myself married and with kids within the first hour.”
“I remember thinking, Oh my God, if you ever gave me a man like that, I promise I would be completely devoted for the rest of my life,” Kidman said of Urban. “Something that wild. I remembered praying after I met him that I’d meet somebody, if not him, like him.”
“I’m much more of a homebody now. My roots are deeper.”
“I love living a ways away,” she adds. “That’s what I’ve worked for in my career, to not have to live in Los Angeles. So it was fortuitous that Keith happened to live in Tennessee. He brought me down to this place called Leipers Fork, just outside of Nashville, very lush and rural. I just went aaah.”
Kidman recently hinted she and Urban are planning to expand their brood. “We’re hoping for another one!” she said.
“There is something about mothering late in life. A lot of it is I want to stay alive for Sunday. There is plenty of deep fear and emotion. Sunday has healed an enormous amount in me. It’s a very private thing, but she just has.”
