Andrew Garfield doesn´t like googling himself
Andrew Garfield hates searching for himself on the internet. The 27-year-old British actor decided to Google his name after he landed the role of Spider-Man in the next installment of the super-hero franchise and was left upset after discovering people hated his eyebrows.
“There would be a lot of really nice people saying a lot of nice things,” he said. “But then I get to the one person who would say, ‘His eyebrows look big. He ought to shave his eyebrows. He looks like a freaking Neanderthal.’ I thought, ‘That’s so mean. I can’t help my eyebrows, dude.’ ”
Garfield — who has dual citizenship because of his American father and British mother — also revealed the thing he misses most when he is away from the UK is the food but he has found some good burger bars in Los Angeles to make up for the lack of home comforts.
“A Sunday roast,” Andrew said of his favorite meal. “An English roast, with roast lamb, roast potatoes and gravy. And a good burger. There are some great burgers in Los Angeles. There’s an 8oz. Burger Bar. And Marley is pretty good.”
Garfield is taking over the part of Spider-Man from Tobey Maguire after the Hollywood star decided he didn’t want to reprise the role of the web-slinger in a fourth film.
