Blake Lively: Martha Stewart is my idol

The Gossip Girl star Blake Lively (23) told Allure magazine that she’s is a real foodie at heart — and is a huge fan of Stewart and British TV chef Nigella Lawson. “Martha Stewart’s my idol,” she said.

“I like Nigella Lawson too. And of course, Paula Deen — butter, butter, butter!

“The only time I really go on the internet is for recipes. My home page on my computer is bakerella.com. She makes these cupcake lollipops. They’re unbelievable.

“I don’t watch TV. But I do TiVo Food Network Challenge.

“I met one of the guys who was a cake decorator and I was so star-struck.

“I want to have a brunch place, a bakery, and a Southern restaurant — because my family’s from Georgia — and then I want a place that is all-over-the-world cuisine.

“I take a cooking class everywhere I travel. I find it’s the best way to get to know a culture.”

Blake — who is dating her Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley — recently insisted she has only kissed three people in her life.
“It’s like nature versus nurture,” she said. “I’m naturally very shy, but I was brought up in a way where I had to get up and get out of that.

“I’ve kissed just three people in my life, other than stuff I’ve done for TV or movies. I know, I’m weird!

“I hope Brad Pitt doesn’t hear this. He’s never going to want to marry me.”
