Bhavna Limbachia is in hospital

OHMYGOSSIP — Bhavna Limbachia has been rushed to hospital with gastroenteritis.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who is known for playing Rana Nazir in the long running soap – has praised the National Health Service (NHS) after she was taken into accident and emergency with extreme stomach pains caused by infectious diarrhoea.
Alongside a photograph of her looking really unwell in her hospital bed, she said: “We’re very lucky to have the NHS! Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Tameside Hospital for looking after me. A case of gastroenteritis and overbuild of acid in the gut but I’m on the mend. Taking a break from social media for a few days while I recover.
“Thank you for all the continued support and kind messages. On the plus side…I haven’t had to attempt to drive in the snow! (sic)”
Gastroenteritis is inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract and is usually caused viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungus transmitted through food.
Symptoms may include diarrhoea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, while some people may have loss of appetite, a fever, aching limbs and headaches.
The sickness bug usually clears up within a week so it’s thought the 33-year-old star may need time off to recuperate – meaning her scenes may have to be put on hold.
