Marc Jacobs has hair transplants

Marc Jacobs underwent hair-transplant surgery in May. The fashion designer, who recently split from beau Lorenzo Martone, told Details magazine that the ordeal was even more painful than being tattooed.

“I couldn’t sleep on my side, and I couldn’t put my head back,’” he said.

Jacobs also revealed that when he decided to improve his diet and exercise regimen three years ago, he amped up his approach to grooming and began getting regular facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures and now uses no fewer than five skin-care products a day.

“I was the anti­thesis of all of this,” he said.

“I just had no interest at all. And then it was, like, anything that makes me feel good I wanted more of. Taking care of myself makes me feel good.”
