OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry was reportedly told to “f**k off” during a heated on-field exchange with a polo player.
The 33-year-old royal received a telling off from Beau Skerrett, a professional polo player, during a match he was officiating in 2014.
Of the game – which was between Prince William and Prince Harry and the princes of Malaysia – Beau Skerrett told The Courier-Mail newspaper: “William is amazing; he’s the perfect bloke – and Harry’s Harry.
“Harry loses his cool (on the field). He is a spoiled brat. It got to the point where I couldn’t send anyone off but something had to be said because he was just getting a bit serious.
“He didn’t take it too well. I think I’m the only guy who ever told him to f**k off in front of a crowd that pay 5,000 pound to shake his hand.
“It was very funny and William actually apologised for him.”
Despite this, Skerrett insisted there were no hard feelings between himself and the British royal.
He said, too, that younger royal had the edge over his brother on the polo field.
Skerrett explained: “I did get the memo that they had to win, because they were playing the princes from Malaysia, so (it was) semi-rigged but they won pretty comfortably.”
In recent months, meanwhile, it has been widely speculated that the Prince will soon propose to his girlfriend, ‘Suits’ actress Meghan Markle.
And a royal commentator has claimed that the Prince’s mother, the late Princess Diana, would approve of her son’s romance with Meghan.
Richard Fitzwilliams said: “Harry’s forthcoming marriage will open a new and exciting chapter in the history of the House of Windsor.
“It is already the world’s most high profile royal family and Meghan’s links with show business and activism should mean that the charitable activities of the younger royals enjoy a global profile that is even wider.
“Meghan is placed to help fulfil the fondest wish of both princes, that Diana would be proud of what they achieve to help others.”
