Chrissy Teigen: Moody John didn’t mean split threat

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen refused John Legend’s request to split up with her because he was being a “whiny face about everything” at the time.
The 31-year-old model has opened up about the singer’s recent revelation that he tried to dump her many years ago, but Chrissy insists it was not a “typical break up” and he was just in a bad mood.
The Sports Illustrated model tweeted: “It wasn’t a typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like ‘no’ (sic).”
She also tweeted a laughing emoji and wrote: “11 years later, baby (sic)”
Speaking about the moment John, 38, tried to call time on their romance, he recently said: “I was really stressed and busy. I was just like, ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like, ‘No.’ ”
The couple – who have 17-month-old daughter Luna together – started dating almost 10 years ago and tied the knot in 2013, but the ‘All of Me’ singer is glad he didn’t ditch the star.
He said: “She pushes me to be funnier, not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.”
The pair met when Chrissy was cast in the video for John’s single ‘Stereo’ and he still has very fond memories of the 2007 shoot.
He said: “It was this one-on-one video of just me and a girl, and she’s my love interest in the video.
“We spent the whole day dancing together, grinding together. And, uh, we made a music video.”
John and Chrissy regularly share details of their personal lives on social media and the ‘Ordinary People’ hitmaker insists they are offering an “unforced” and natural portrayal of who they really are.
He said: “If we were trying to put up some facade that wasn’t real, but since who we are on social media is really natural and really a reflection of who we are in our private life in a lot of ways, I think it feels very unforced for us.
“It feels like a natural conversation.”
