Paloma Faith’s Glastonbury excitement
Paloma Faith can’t wait to perform at Glastonbury. The singer, who burst onto the pop scene in 2009 with her single ‘Stone Cold Sober’, is performing at the UK’s most famous festival for the first time and is excited about meeting Stevie Wonder, who is one of the headline acts.
Speaking to ilikemusic.com, Paloma said: “I’ve done Latitude every year since it began. I’m not doing it in 2010. But Latitude is one of my favourite festivals! It was a really exciting experience to have that amount of people to perform to. This year the thing I’m most excited about is playing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury! I’ve never played to that many people before, I’m so excited! And I’m hoping to meet Stevie Wonder there too.”
Despite her excitement, Paloma knows that she will sharing the stage with huge acts like Faithless, Muse, and Dizzee Rascal.
She said: “I’ll probably be having some healthy, mild competition with other people! Hahaha! So I’m going to try and do my absolute best to have an impact. It’s kinda different to when I do my headline shows. I always have a massive set and production and things, so it’ll be a little bit more difficult, you have to get on and off in your allocated slot. I’m trying to think of imaginative ways to make it both visually and sonically exciting.”
