OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Hunnam used to own 80 pairs of trainers.
The 36-year-old actor has revealed there was a point in his life when he had a very extensive collection of footwear because he had an obsession with needing the “good S**t” and the “really limited edition” shoes.
When asked about his possessions and his former shopping habits in an interview with Elle magazine, the golden-haired hunk said: “I did at a period in my life.
“I spent an enormous amount of time sourcing the good shit. I needed really limited edition, blah blah blah.”
However, the ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ star – who is known for playing the role of Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller in the popular drama series – has since changed his ways and does not own the large volumes of trainers anymore because he has claimed he has grown up.
He explained: “Not anymore.
“I grew up. Then I thought, What the fuck am I doing?”
But the Newcastle-born star has revealed he held back “six or seven” pairs of sneakers when he got rid of the items, although he donated the “rest” of his belongings to charity.
He said:”I took out six or seven pairs that I cared about, and I gave the rest to charity.”
Meanwhile the heartthrob – who has been dating jewellery designer Morgana McNelis for 10 years – has revealed he is able to stay in great shape because he is “f**king crazy” and exercises “a lot every day”.
Speaking previously about his fitness regime, he said: “We are supposed to be very active animals. It’s our DNA. Sweating is how I change my oil every day. I just feel happier, more positive, energized, and disciplined if I work out.
“I train a lot every day because I’m f**king crazy.
“I try to do it all. I also try to make love as often as I can. That’s an important part of fitness.”
