OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Bobby Brown feels “honoured” to model the new Calvin Klein By Appointment range.
The 12-year-old actress has been selected to adorn the brands 14-piece collection alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lineisy Montero and Natalie Westling, and the star announced the news of her latest venture and her excitement at joining forces with the fashion house on social media.
Alongside an image of her from the photoshoot, which sees her adorn a red and yellow fringed top with pillar-box red trousers, and was posted on her Instagram account, she wrote: “I am so honoured to be a part of this -‘A cast of distinct individuals brings the idea to life: Strength of character is key. Whether famous or unknown, all are treated equally’ — Calvin Klein By Appointment (sic).”
The fashion house has also taken to social media to share images from the capsule, including a shot of the ‘Stranger Things’ star, which is the same image Millie shared of herself on her photo-sharing site.
The Calvin Klein post read: “A cast of distinct individuals brings the idea to life:
Chosen for who they are, where an essential strength of character is key. Whether famous or unknown, all are treated equally. (sic).”
Calvin Klein’s new made-to-measure line is 49-year-old fashion designer Raf Simons’ first collection for the label since being appointed Chief Creative Officer of Calvin Klein in August last year.
And the creative mastermind has revealed his creations are a celebration of the “American woman and American fashion”.
Alongside an image of a model adorning a mid-length dress with a tulle skirt, which was edited with a black and white filter and photographed by Willy Vanderperre, it read: ‘Calvin Klein By Appointment 1-14 is very much about celebrating the American woman and American fashion.’ –Raf Simons, CCO Calvin Klein (sic).”
