OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss has signed her first model to her modelling agency.
The 42-year-old supermodel – who set up Kate Moss Agency following her departure from Storm Models Management, which she has been a part of since she was 14 years old – has recruited Elfie Reigate as the first female signee to Kate’s agency.
The news was announced via Kate moss Agency’s Instagram account, which saw the company post a picture of the newcomer beaming with joy, with the caption: “Alongside the photo, it read: “Congratulations Elfie on your first show @alexandermcqueenworldwide exclusive !! Thanks@jesshallettcast #pfw #ss17#alexandermcqueen (sic).”
Although the post has praised Elfie’s success during Paris Fashion Week, which saw her grace the runway for Alexander McQueen’s showcase, Elfie made her public debut in 2011 when she was one of Kate’s bridesmaids.
And the 21-year-old beauty is rumoured to be the new face of the British designer’s upcoming campaign in the near future, according to Grazia magazine.
Meanwhile, Kate – who has 14-year-old daughter Lila who she had with her former partner Jefferson Hack – has revealed her modelling agency is a “dream” come true, although it feels “weird” having her own eponymous company.
Speaking previously, she said: “It’s a dream! It’s so weird. I want to focus more on managing people’s careers than just [running] a modelling agency.
“I don’t really want pretty people, I want people that want to sing and dance and act — I want to create stars.”
And Kate now feels more in control of her future career.
She explained: “I didn’t realise how much it was going to change the way I feel because it is like taking responsibility for my own [business], whatever I do, instead of being the model who’s being sent on jobs to turn up and just be whatever they want you to be.”
