Snoop Dogg wants joint tour with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem
OHMYGOSSIP — Snoop Dogg wants to do a “joint tour” with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
The ‘Young, Wild and Free’ hitmaker previously trekked around the globe with the 51-year-old rapper in 2000 when they performed a series of gigs for their ‘Up in the Smoke’ tour and also headlined Coachella together in 2012.
And, although the 41-year-old chain-smoking hip-hop artist wants to join forces with his pal once again, he has admitted they’d like to pull in the other two as well.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, he said: “I think [a joint tour] makes sense more than anything. A Snoop-Dre album would be amazing, but a tour even more, because we have legendary music the world has yet to see us perform globally. I’m pretty sure he wants to do it. He just wants the team in place. Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre – that’s the dream team for him.”
Meanwhile, Snoop is certainly racking up his concert collaborations as he recently performed with Wiz Khalifa at the Call of Duty: Experience 2016 gaming convention on September 4 at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
Prior to that, the hip-hop pair performed a series of gigs as part of their Merry Jane Presents Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa: The High Road Tour.
However, their concerts haven’t been without drama as 42 people were reportedly hurt during their show at the BB&T Pavilion in New Jersey last month when a railing collapsed.
Shortly after the incident occurred, fans were told to wait around as they expected the concert to resume.
However, given the severity of the situation, it was subsequently decided to cancel the event altogether.
