Alex Reid launches fitness retreat
OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Reid has launched his own fitness retreat in Marbella, Spain, with a mission to get people “fit, to stay healthy and “achieve” their ideal weight in a “safe and sustainable way”.
The retired cage fighter – who was married to Katie Price from February 2010 to January 2011 – has set up the Alma Juicing Retreat in Marbella, Spain, and is using his expert knowledge of health and fitness learned from his numerous bouts to help people get in shape and achieve their weight loss goals.
A statement on his website (www.thealexreid.com) reads: “My mission is to help you get fit, stay healthy and achieve your ideal weight in a safe and sustainable way … Now that I’m getting older and not competing, I have found new ways to embrace my passion for health and fitness. Over the years I have learnt a great deal about the importance of following a healthy and balanced diet and the importance of balancing the body and mind and I want to give you the opportunity to benefit from my experience.”
The 39-year-old former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner – who has three-year-old daughter Dolly with ex-partner Chantelle Houghton – has designed his own exercise programme named Roll & Flow and promises that, together with a diet of juices and smoothies, it will achieve incredible results.
He explained: “I aim to bring a touch of uniqueness to the Alma Juice Retreats. Along with my knowledge of fitness, personal training and mixed martial arts, I look forward to coaching you in a method of exercise I’ve developed, called Roll & Flow.
“I’m currently studying to become an Independent Natural Juice Therapist and will be qualified before October. So, I look forward to teaching you how to create delicious juice recipes designed just for you, whether for weight loss, added energy or simply to create a great tasting drink!”
Single, double and twin rooms are available at the retreat as well as a Premium VIP Package which includes a king-sized bed and private tuition with Alex.
