Eddie Redmayne loves married life

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne doesn’t miss being a bachelor because he loves being married to Hannah Bagshawe.

The ‘Theory of Everything’ star, who tied the knot with long-term girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe in December, insists he doesn’t miss being a bachelor.

The 33-year-old actor said: “New marriage is pretty wonderful, pretty extraordinary. I’m very happy.”

The British heartthrob is planning to whisk his new wife off to a tropical island after the Oscars in Los Angeles on February 22.

He told Us Weekly magazine: “The plan is to go sit on a beach somewhere with Hannah, as she certainly deserves it.”

The couple were forced to cut short their original honeymoon to attend the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month after tying the knot on December 15, and Eddie is not expecting to come back with a suntan.

He joked: “I’ll get a few more freckles.”

The ‘Les Miserable’ star previously admitted he is looking forward to reading a “trashy book” on the beach.

He said: “When you’re an actor, there’s always something you have to read for work, so you always have to either be reading a script or researching a script. That moment where you get to choose a book that you want to read just for pleasure is that rare thing.”
