Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has a ”good grasp” of French
OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has a ‘good grasp’ of French. The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ singer has been learning her new husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini’s native language and has impressed her ‘X Factor’ contestant Chloe Jasmine with her linguistic skills.
Asked if she has met Cheryl’s spouse, the singer told Grazia magazine: ”Yes I did, they seem very in love. Cheryl and I actually had a little conversation in French, she seemed to have a good grasp of it.”
Cheryl has also confided to her contestants that she feels a lot of ”pressure” as a solo artist compared with when she was a member of Girls Aloud.
Another of her hopefuls, Stephanie Nala, said: ”I’m lucky that Cheryl is my mentor because she was in Girls Aloud and she told me she gets it, she said she really felt the pressure stepping out on her own.
”She’s strong yet vulnerable. Cheryl’s just amazing.”
Jean-Bernard previously admitted he had been giving Cheryl French lessons.
He said: ”My English is better than her French but I teach her the words. Mainly the bad words! She teaches me the Geordie.”
