Britain’s Prince Harry will receive £10million on his 30th birthday
OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry is set to receive £10million from his late mother, Princess Diana’s estate when he turns 30 later this month.
The flame haired Royal will turn 30 on September 15 and will be gifted with the large sum of money from his late mother, Princess Diana’s fortune to mark the occasion, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
His brother, the Duke of Cambridge, 32, received the same amount on his 30th birthday, although Harry is expected to receive slightly more due to the interest building up over a longer period of time.
The 29-year-old Prince currently earns approximately £40,000-a-year from his job as a Staff Officer in the British Armed Forces and also has access to the £2million that was left to him when his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, passed away in 2002.
Harry lives in a two-bedroom apartment in Kensington Palace and his official royal duties are funded through his father Prince Charles’ income from the Duchy of Cornwall while his official travel is paid for from the Sovereign Grant.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that the dress that Princess Diana – who died in a car crash in Paris, France in 1997 – wore on her wedding day, which is currently in the care of her brother Earl Spencer, will also be returned to her sons when Harry celebrates the landmark birthday.
