Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts to collaborate
OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts are set to collaborate for the ‘Fight For This Love’s upcoming studio album. The former Girls Aloud singers – who went their separate ways after the band’s one-off reunion tour earlier this year – are planning to team up and pen some tracks together for the ‘Fight For This Love’s upcoming studio album.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “This seemed like the perfect opportunity to keep some of the Girls Aloud spirit alive. They’ll get to hang out together and make music – their two favourite things to do.”
Nicola – who co-wrote Little Mix’s hit track ‘DNA’ – has been making a name for herself in the fashion and make-up industry, but Cheryl is keen to get her former band mate on board the new album after failing to collaborate with her on previous occasions due to conflicting schedules.
The brunette beauty said in 2012: “I was trying to get her to write one but she didn’t have time. Cheers for that, too busy creating lipstick colours!”
Meanwhile, Cheryl could see herself go head-to-head with her ex bandmates Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle as the release dates for their upcoming studio collections have been pushed back to 2014.
