OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian trying to eat healthier foods and snacks to maintain her 25-pound weight-loss but admits getting in shape is ‘hard work’.
Khloe Kardashian admits losing weight was “hard work”. The 28-year-old reality TV star – who is married to Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom – has started sneaking healthy snacks into his basketball games in a bid to maintain her recent 25-pound weight-loss.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM: “I do sneak snacks but it’s not like I’m sneaking anything bad. It’s a good thing; I’m sneaking apples and edamame.
“I’m trying. It is part of the process. I definitely don’t deprive myself but I try to eat, if I want something, I’ll try to eat it earlier in the day.
“My problem is that I go to a basketball game every other day and you don’t think, ‘oh let me just have a handful of that caramel corn’, you really don’t think about how much it does add up.
“You leave there at 11pm and sometimes Lamar and I will go to dinner after – you really have to pay attention.
“I try to eat better later in the day. If I want something sweet or I want a cookie, I will have one instead of eating a whole box of cookies.
“It is definitely hard work, it doesn’t happen over night but as long as you’re consistent, that is the key.”
Khloe – who previously credited boxing for helping her get in shape – also revealed that her pregnant sister Kim has been craving French fries, which has made her and her brother Rob’s bid to eat healthy even more difficult.
She said: “Kim ordered just like a big pile of French fries…like a huge tower of fries.
“She’s sitting between Robert and I and were both working on getting in shape and Rob was seriously like foaming at the mouth. It was so mean, it was definitely cruel.”
