Britney Spears to rent new Malibu home

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is keen to rent a new Malibu home. The Toxic hitmaker — who’s currently serving as a judge on the new series of American X Factor — has been seen looking for a new home in the exclusive area to live in, and spent four hours at an ocean-front property which features five bedrooms.

The mansion is set over 3,565 square feet, has 4.5 bedrooms and is three stories tall. In addition is has a newly remodeled kitchen, a separate studio apartment and a spa, and costs $14,900 a month to rent.

To buy it outright would cost Britney – who is currently engaged to Jason Trawick — $6.9 million.

Meanwhile, sources say Spears is no pushover when it comes to judging acts on The X Factor.

“She’s got a really good instinct, and when she loves something, she looks like she wants to dance on the desk,” a source said.

“When she doesn’t like someone, she is incredibly tough. She’s really massively grown in confidence. She loves interesting and fun auditions and is prepared to stick her neck out and support someone no matter if some of the other judges disagree.”
