Angelina Jolie has written a story about her mother

Angelina Jolie has written a story about her mother — but she doesn’t plan to share it with the public. The actress — who has just proved her filmmaking credentials by writing and directing Bosnian War drama In the Land of Blood and Honey — says much of her writing is too personal for film.

“I’ve also written a story about my mother, after she passed,” says Angelina of her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007.

“They are things that I will never show anybody, but it is nice to spend time with people and characters, in this private world.”

Meanwhile, sources say Jolie — who already raises six children with partner Brad Pitt– is keen to expand her family.

“She jokes about triplets constantly. And she’s not a big joker, really,” says a confidante. “She and Brad have talked at length. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that she’ll have another child.

“It’s very serious. She’s had two very high-risk pregnancies. Both times, her blood pressure shot up, and she developed gestational diabetes. I don’t know if she could survive a third round.

“Angelina is determined. She is dead set on giving the kids a baby brother or sister as soon as possible.”
