Courtney Love infatuated with ideal man Salman Rushdie

Courtney Love has reportedly become “infatuated” with acclaimed novelist Salman Rushdie.  The Hole rocker was spotted “flirting heavily” with the 64-year-old, best known for his controversial 1988 book The Satanic Verses, at a recent literary event in New York.

“She finds him intellectually thrilling,” a source told The Mirror. “She regularly quotes classic literature and is a huge fan of Salman’s work.

“She is infatuated with Salman. He truly is her ideal chap. She is looking for love, while Salman’s an incorrigible flirt and willing to see how their friendship develops.”

Love briefly dated Alan Partridge creator Steve Coogan back in 2005.

The 47-year-old declared in May that she is “determined to land” a rich boyfriend.
