Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell selling their Malibu home
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are selling their house for $14.7million. The couple have decided to put the four-bedroom Malibu property — which overlooks the Pacific Ocean — on the market but have also listed it to rent for $80,000-a-month while they await a potential buyer.
The house, which has been owned by the couple for over 20 years, underwent an expensive redesign and upgrade just six years ago and boasts stunning landscaped grounds.
The property’s entry on real estate website Realtor.com reads, “A rare and extraordinary offering that transcends time.
“Situated on Malibu’s Broad Beach dunes, this beautiful and exotic residence was extensively redesigned and renovated in 2005.
“Enter through the gated courtyard, to calming fountains and lush landscaping that will melt your cares away. The open living spaces overlook an expansive oceanfront patio that features an intimate outdoor living room and fireplace, a grass covered fenced yard and a path across the sandy dunes to the blue Pacific.
“A luxurious oceanfront master bedroom suite has awe-inspiring views, a fireplace to warm the soul, Onyx surfaces in the spa-inspired bath area, and a large walk-in closet.”
The property also has a luxury media room and a meditation area specially created to the specifications of Buddhist Goldie — whose daughter Kate Hudson gave birth to a son Bingham Hawn earlier this month, her first child with her fiance, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy – while the grounds also contain a separate guest house.
The listing adds. “The main residence also features a substantial ocean view designer kitchen, two large additional guest suites, Creston media room and fabulous office.
“A detached guest house that features a meditation/guest room, and an exercise room with full bath, complete the attributes of this exceptional property.”
