SAG Award for supporting actor won by Christian Bale In “The Fighter”
The Screen Actors Guild Award for Supporting Actor in Film has been won by Christian Bale for his role in The Fighter.
“Bloody hell this is heavy,” Bale said picking up the trophy. “This is really meaningful getting this award from my fellow actors. The problem is when you win, it makes you realize how many people you depend upon.”
“I love acting, I love what we do, some days it’s like playing dress-up and sometimes it’s so serious, and I appreciate being able to do that for my life.”
The other nominees were Jon Hawkes in Winter’s Bone, Jeremy Renner in The Town, Mark Ruffalo in The Kids Are All Right and Geoffrey Rush in The King’s Speech.
