Arnold Schwarzenegger is power hungry
Arnold Schwarzenegger admits he was addicted to power. During a recent interview, the Terminator star and former Governor of California claims that the highest office in the state left him “addicted” to its power.
Schwarzenegger also estimated that his seven years as governor cost him about $200 million — $70 million of that in lost movie roles.
He said his abysmal popularity rankings were “just a snapshot” and that “they would have rocketed to the top” had he not been forced out of office by term limits.
Arnold recently revealed he’s planning a Hollywood comeback.
“Currently I’m reading three scripts,” he said. “In the future I have to adapt my roles to my age. Clint Eastwood has also done it in the same way. Extreme fighting or shooting is not possible anymore. I want to be more encouraged as an actor and I believe that I can manage this challenge.
“I am like a sponge, which is absorbing all the knowledge and always be willing to learn all new things.”
