Reese Witherspoon doesn’t chase guys

Reese Witherspoon is done chasing boys! The Legally Blonde actress — who raises two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, has previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal and is currently romancing Hollywood agent Jim Toth — says she prefers guys to pursue her.

“I have a girlfriend who said something really smart to me the other day,” explains Reese. “She was telling me a story about how she would like go to the same coffee shop, and she was really into the guy making the coffee.

“He was this cool guy in a band and she always wanted to go out with him, but she never noticed that the guy giving her coffee every day was totally in love with her! So she said, it’s important to look at the guy.

“You know, don’t follow the guy you’re chasing, look at the guy who’s chasing you. I think that takes time, and sort of life experience to notice. Because boy is it fun, chasing boys — especially when you’re young.”

Reese — who stars alongside Robert Pattinson in new movie Water For Elephants — recently revealed she loves being an actress because she gets to “make-out” with hot guys.

“I’m not gonna lie. He’s a very, very handsome man,” she said of Pattinson.

“Someone’s gotta do it. It’s like America’s Test Kitchen, but for making out with hot costars. I do it for the girls. I love my job. They’re all really good guys. And I know all their girlfriends.”
